Saturday was perfect and relaxing and I’m dreading work tomorrow. Someday soon I’m going to employ my plan to open up a Surf ‘n Snack shop on a tropical island. We’ll have a short order cook (tater tots!), a full bar, and surf, scuba, and snorkeling lessons/equipment. The shop will have big doors that open wide to expose the entire front side to the ocean – and the ocean will be just outside out doors. It will be a place locals love and savvy tourists find.

I have boot camp at 10am which means I’m going to have to drag myself away from Bravo and TWW’s, “In the Shadow of Two Gunmen Part II.” ETA: I didn’t get a chance to post before I had to leave. Boot camp is through. Yay! (And ouch!)

I decided to dye my hair yesterday and went with this color. The box noted that if you’re wavering between two colors you should choose the lighter of the two. I should have listened. The red is barely visible in my hair. :( I have to figure out how long I need to wait until I try a better color.

I had 10 episodes of Bones on my DVR, going back to early February, and I’m finally making my way through. I love this show. I have no idea why I wait so long to watch. It’s fun to binge, though.

I found a review of Wednesday’ A2 Indigo Girls concert: A large, adoring crowd packed the Michigan Theater last night to see Amy Ray and Emily Saliers play folk rock songs from their newest album, "Poseidon and the Bitter Bug," as well as hits and lesser-known gems from their old catalog… More here. In my post Indigo Girls haze, I couldn’t help but do a little digging on Amy Ray’s partner, Carrie Schrader. She’s cute and looks spunky! I wish I could see a larger version of this photo. Amy’s liner note thank you’s sum it up: Carrie – for keeping me awake to life and alive to passion. Awwwwww.

Did any one else see Lindsey Lohan on Ellen? It was candid and, simultaneously, awkward and sweet as Ellen tried to play big sister/guidance counselor.
