Justin invades Times Square...
The fact that I am in my office right now and now standing on the corner of 44th St. and Broadway is a damn miracle.
I had to go from a client's office to my office so I decided to walk it and pick up "Justified" on the way. The album is displayed front and center when you walk into the Virgin Megastore in Times Square. I think that three out of every four people on line were buying the album.
The MTV studios are across the street from Virgin and I noticed a large crowd starting to form. It was 12:30 pm, 3 hours before TRL begins but I suppose that's understandable. After, it is Justin. *g*
What I didn't understand was why a large pack of cops were on 44th St. and why the street was blocked off. Well, it's because Justin is performing outside today. Yeah. Outside. 4 blocks from my office Uh huh. But I'm here. It sucks to be a grown up sometimes.
So, damn straight, I'm going to The Today Show on Friday.
Here's a killer of a PS-- As some of you know, this summer I met 'Nsync's business manager. (It was through very odd circumstances.) Anyway, I tried to work it but nothing really came of it in the end. I read Justin's thank you's and this guy is thanked by name. He has a college age daughter. Can I be her? Even if it is just for the next two weeks? Please? (I knew I should have slept with him. Kidding. Mostly.)
