And then I kidnapped a co-worker...

I'm back in FL and, fortunately, missing the feet and feet of snow in NYC. Last night I went out to dinner with a co-worker who is also in FL this week. We were just pulling into the hotel driveway when BMU came on the radio. Have I mentioned that I never hear this song on the radio in NYC? I got a little excited or a lot excited, turned up the volume, and flew out of the parking lot. I suppose I could have listened to the song in the hotel lot but I got it into my head that I should be driving. So my poor co-worker sat there while I drove around the hotel again and again, singing at the top of my lungs and trying not to crash the rental car. I think I shocked the poor woman. But, hey, it's not like I was just going to turn the car off and go inside.

I am spreading the love for all things sparkly at 30,000 feet.

I was bumped up to first class on my way down to FL. Weeeeee! I was sitting next to a guy from the UK who is currently living in Greece. Somehow, Justin came up in our conversation. Okay, I'm pretty sure I was the one who brought him up, but still, I'm sure it was relevant to our conversation. Since guy didn't know who Justin is, even when I mentioned Britney, I decided to share the love.

Over the next hour, guy viewed pictures of Justin, pictures of JC, and group pictures from both the Celebrity tour and POT. (Q: "But why do they wear those girly mikes around their heads." A: "So they can shake their diva hips and hump the floor without the contraints of a handheld mike.") He watched Justin's performance of LILY on The Tonight Show ("The kid dances like MJ.") and the BMU video. He got quite an education. This is the second time my photos and media files have come in handy in-flight. Now I know why my company insists that I bring my laptop on board as carry-on instead of checking it. :b
