I was an MMC virgin...

I was an MMC virgin. Now I'm just plain dead. And it's stargems' fault.

Stargems came over tonight with old MMC footage and three seasons of Emerald Cove. (Anyone notice her squealing about Emerald Cove in her LJ lately? Well now I know why.)

Until tonight I was oblivious and unaware of the charms of Wipeout. *sigh* Could JC be any more wonderful? Because I'm doubtful. He's charming and adorable and I'm soinlove.

Plus the random MMC footage! Young JC and Justin and Britney and Christina and Tony. It's surreal. Tony and JC singing Now & Forever. The pie throwing sketch. The woodchuck birdfeeder sketch. JC was an irresistable even when he was at his dorkiest.

But what I don't think I'll ever recover from was JC singing "She Moves in Mysterious Ways." No teenage boy has a right to be that sexy.

Soinlove. Soinlove. Soinlove.

Happy Birthday Warren...

I remember the first time I was consciously aware of Warren Beatty. He walked out onto the Arsenio Hall stage to promote Dick Tracy and my heart stopped. From that point on, while all of my friends were drooling over NKOTB and whoever else was popular at the time, I was devoted to Warren.

I was probably the only 14 year old who owned a copy of "Reds" and everyone who loved me had to sit through at least one viewing of "Bonnie & Clyde."

I think part of his charm is the way he can be both confident and shy simultaneously. He knows he's got it but he's also a very private person. He made selective film choices and learned to use the media to his advantage. Warren Beatty is willing to make a statement if it is important to him and isn't worried about popularity.

Although he'll never know, I always try to make a small gesture to acknowledge his birthday. This year, I decided to share some of my favorite pictures. The man was handsome. Still is quite handsome. And, you have to admit, in the 1970's he was sporting his own version of diva hips and fuck me hair.

Well, I got a little bit of cleaning done so I won't be embarrassed with dj_writes comes by tomorrow.

I have to pay bills today. Not an option. I also want to exercise.

And then dinner with S for his birthday. Just the two of us. But, okay. If that's what he wants.

newdaydawning and dreamtrance have booked the hotel for Friday night. Tim!!! If I let myself get too excited I won't make it through the week. Tim!!! Besides, a new employee starts tomorrow and I have that quick trip to FL on Wednesday. There's so much happening between now and Tim I just need to get through the next 5 days.

I also have to renew my drivers license. It expires on 4/18. Good by CA license. I liked being a CA driver. :(
