This morning is hysterical! I woke up to see what happened with the chat and, while yes there was brief mention of JC, it was [livejournal.com profile] jchalo's name who was everywhere! Because apparently JC called her. That fantastic! And a bit surreal. I wish I'd have a chance to listen to the interview before this weekend but internet constraints in FL will surely prevent that.

The only other point I picked up on is that JC and Joey can't stop talking about each other. And I think it's quite clear what I think about that.

I'd really like to listen to those two parts but I'll have to be patient.

I read [livejournal.com profile] coolwhipdiva and [livejournal.com profile] without_me's recaps so it sounds like the boy's happy. Anything else important? Did we get a release date for the video?

(Oh, and the part about him telling the girl outside to stay on the sidewalk. I wonder if he was thinking about that girl who was killed outside of the studio during that interview Justin did.)

Quite fitting that, a year ago to day was the HOB show. Where I met [livejournal.com profile] clumsygyrl, [livejournal.com profile] jcdreaming, [livejournal.com profile] geminigirl, [livejournal.com profile] giddyupnow and [livejournal.com profile] without_me. And waited an insanely long time, pressed against a stage, suffering through "Remedy," for two songs that were a huge blessing back then. And had an insane night in LA that still holds some records for me.

A year later, we have a single and promo for JC's solo album. Nice.

I saw a commercial for "Love Don't Co$t a Thing" this morning and it's obviously a remake of "Can't Buy Me Love."

But...but...they can't do that.

"Can't Buy Me Love" is an 80's classic.

"You shit on my house, man! You shit on my house!"

From the commercials, it even looks like they recreate the "African Anteater Ritual" scene out on a beach.

Where do I call to protest?

And, on a completely different note, who sang that song, "Rock Steady?" You know, "rock steady...rockin' till the break of dawn." That one?
I'm not kidding when I say that the only thing I missed on LJ over the past 5 hours were posts about buying tickets for JC's shows. It's quite comical. Stress and joy and angst and squee all over the place.

It's enough to make a girl buy a ticket to the Boston show. Which I just did.

It's $25. I don't know if I'll make the trip up there but I'd hate to see the NYC show on the 19th and regret not having a ticket for Boston. Better safe than sorry. If I decide not to go, it's not a huge financial loss.

Just know that you're all a bunch of fucking enablers.

Despite an apparent lack of enthusiasm, I am excited about the tour but today kicked my ass which effectively removed my ability to show excitement on any level. So I'm leaving work for more wine with co-workers. But I will be home by 8:30pm because neither happy hour nor Florida will keep me from The West Wing.

Thing the first:

I rarely appreciate Matthew Perry but the fact that I can watch him and not think about Chandler's got to mean something. Maybe it means he can act. Which, I suppose, is the point.

Thing the second:

Tomorrow, Extra's going to show footage from the set of "The Prisoner of Azkaban." Seven month build up to this movie. I can't take it. And Harry looks so good! Iwillnotlustafterateenager.

Thing the third:

There was a profile on Access Hollywood or ET or Extra today about a former TV newscaster who is suffering from anorexia. She's not even 60 pounds and she looks like a corpse. It's just horribly depressing. I've never seen anyone that sick from this disease. I don't even know what else to say about this. I hope she makes it.
