I'm getting sick. So I've got to get better. I'd take a sick day but I can't afford to be out of the office right now. OJ for me this morning.

I received treats in the mail yesterday that deserve much thanks! A copy of Jo Dee Messina's greatest hits from monya876 and an 'Nsync puzzle/game/cube thing from powrhug. Treats on top of a wonderful conversation with mickeym made for a very nice evening.

battle of the cop dramas...

-- So torn between L&O: SVU and NYPD: Blue guest starring Kim Delaney. I think I'm going to have to go with NYPD Blue for nostalgia's sake but I'm almost looking forward to the end of K.D.'s guest stint so I can get back to L&O. Oh, the challenges of life.

-- I'll be indisposed when the tickets to JC's show go on-sale. I'm currently recruiting someone to buy a ticket for me so I know it's taken care of. I can't believe the show is soon. And Justin's show is in 11 days. A solo Justin concert and a solo JC concert within three weeks of each other. I never would have thought it possible. It's a bit surreal.

-- I have a date tomorrow night. A blind date. We've spoken once and he wants to get together before I go away so we're meeting up tomorrow at 9pm. I hear he's got skinny little hips.

-- mickeym and silveryscrape finished up the JC/Tim/Chris fic that kept me entertained and hot as sin all day: Real Good Man. Much with the grateful. Much. Go read. Even if Tim's not your thing. You won't regret it. Hot, hot, hot.

-- And I've started my SeSa fic! There's a long way to go but it's a relief to get started.

There's nothing like realizing that your passport is at your mother's house 72 hours before leaving the country. That could have been unfortunate. Thank god for overnight mail. And for kind family members willing to run to the post office tomorrow morning. Good grief. I need to get my act together.

PS. I love Kim Delaney. Even when she gets shit for plots.
