I can only tape one show because I have to pre-set the station so I chose Ryan Seacrest. Regis and Kelly seemed a little iffy and I don't need another TRL appearance. Though, by the time he's done with promo, I'm going to have one tape filled with "Some Girls" performances. "100 Ways" damn well better be a single.

Busy day. Must get to work. Blah, blah, blah.

On a whim, I walked into a local record store and there it was. Right there! And now it's in.my.hands. In my hands! Eeeeeeee!

I completely underestimated how overwhelming it would be to actually have Schizophrenic in my hands. To open the package and look at the photos (hot!sexy!photos!) and put the album in my discman. And listen. Finally. Finally, finally, finally.

I was in my own little world on the subway. I caught my reflection in one of the windows and I had this loopy, blissed out look on my face. Because JC released a solo album. And we can buy it! In stores!

Current favorites are "If You Were My Girl" and "Lose Myself." But that's subject to change as I listen again. And again.

This all comes at the tail end of a very emotional day and was just what I needed.

Schizophrenic wasn't the only CD I bought today. I also sneaked in my week 1 purchase of All That We Let In, the new album from the Indigo Girls. I can't overstate how much I love the Indigo Girls. New music from them is like coming home.

Aside from the songs I saw performed live, I was completely unspoiled for this album and I'm in heaven at the third track. It's so interesting to me that they don't write together and, while songs are distinctly Emily or distinctly Amy, it comes together perfectly.

March 12th at Radio City. I absolutely can't wait. rossetti...you still in?
