It's been 48 days since I've flown which I'm confident is the reason for my recent zen state. But I'm heading back down to Florida tonight and I will not freak out. Rationally, I know I'm safe (right?) and it's unlikely that anything will happen (right?). I'm focusing on calming breaths and trying to preoccupy myself with my to-do list.
I'm working from our FL offices Monday - Thursday but, this weekend, I'll be at the Langerado music festival with friends from work. I can't wait to spend the day in the sun with good music, good friends, and a lot of beer. Then I'm heading back to the west coast of FL on Sunday night to meet up with two other coworkers to see Hidalgo. HIDALGO! Oh, how I wish I could go tonight.
Will be off-line for most of the weekend which is probably good for my soul.
