Last night eleanor_lavish came over for coding and cookies and our conversation deteriorated into a love fest over the recent pornish_pixies stories. The August batch for the fantasy fest really tests your squicks and we came away with this: bestiality's not so bad as long as you're over age and want it.

I suppose the more appropriate way of explaining it is that sex with an animagus in their animal form if quite alright with me but non-con chan makes me squirm. Can't read it at all though it's more the non-con than the chan. Also, unlike any other fandom I've read, I have a thing for incest. Weasley fic, particularly of the twin or Bill or Charlie variety. Harry with James, too, which should be implausible but actually isn't if you employ the use of time turners and far from canon AUs.

My mother, sister, Cel and I went to dinner tonight and my sister and I had some time to kill before we met up. We walked over to Bryant Park and found that the NY State delegation was holding a cocktail party at the Bryant Park Grill. Shortly after we sat down on a nearby bench, these protesters showed up with rockets strapped on as cocks. They had a song and dance routine which was all about Bush's propensity for war and love of oil. Eventually cops swarmed and threated to arrest them to they danced off into the sunset. But not before amusing me and irritating the delegates on the outdoor patio.

My roommate let me know that she doesn't want to renew our lease. This is so stressful. Our lease is up on 10/31 so I simultaneously have to start looking for a new roommate and try to figure out if I'm even staying in NY. I go back and forth on a minute by minute basis and can't believe I have to roommate search in the middle of this. I'm going to put up an add on Craig's List tomorrow. I hope this all falls into place one way or another.
