There's a nasty storm cloud sitting over Manhattan. (See? Storm cloud.) It stopped raining just as I got to the office but not before I got drenched. There are also some significant problems with the subway. I sat on the C train between 72nd and 59th for about 20 minutes and was then diverted to 8th avenue because there are no trains running on the 6th avenue line. Our receptionist isn't in today because no trains are coming in from her area of Queens. I suppose, if it was something serious/dangerous we'd know by now. Maybe.
I have four people coming to see my apartment today and one already scheduled for Friday evening. There are also 3 or 4 people I still have to contact. The good news is that I'm sure I can find someone to live with. The bad news is that I still have no idea what's going on and the anxiety may actually kill me. At this point, I'm proceeding as if I'm going to stay in NYC.
I have 100+ unread e-mails to attend to. I should probably do that.
EDIT:
kaelie- You were right about September 7th but today's pretty good to us, too!
