Yankees game tonight. I've been officially appointed team leader for the game. Don't think I take that lightly! We have 12 tickets - four behind home plate and eight a bit further up. We have six clients going and six internal people going. It was my job to do the seating arrangements which was so much more stressful than it needed to be. Which clients should sit behind home plate? Which executives should sit with the clients behind home plate? How will we all get to the game? How will we get home from the game? I never, ever, ever want to be a scheduler or event planner. In the end, I put the two retail clients behind home plate with our two highest ranking executives. We have a car for those four and the rest of us are taking the subway. I'm going to have to buy the metrocards for everyone and lead the way because most of the people going have never been on the subway. Wheeeee! All of this is worth it, though, because I haven't been to a Yankees game all season.

On the job front, I have more info...job title, basic responsibilities...but not specifics yet. Ideally that will come later today. I'm relaxing, though. There will be enough to stress about when I'm actually doing the new job. I have to let go just a bit and let things happen.
