[livejournal.com profile] kittenfishlambs and I had a play date tonight and I learned two important things.

1) Keanu Reeves' redeeming film is "Something's Gotta Give." He is absolutely charming as Julian and I was rooting for him the whole way through.

2) My inability to work my wireless internet was not due to a faulty router or faulty hardware. It's because I didn't flip the "on" switch on the side of my computer. It only took us an hour to figure that out. A frustrating, but entertaining, hour. I are smart.

I started packing (sort of). I'm definitely a pack rat but I'm going to embrace it and only toss what I can possibly bear to part with. Thank goodness for the additional storage space.
TNT has a marathon of From The Earth To The Moon today. It originally aired in 1998 on HBO and chronicles the Apollo space program. I own the DVDs but there's something different about seeing it on TV. Kind of like the difference between hearing a song on the radio and playing the CD. If you haven't seen any of the episodes and have some free time right now, I highly encourage you to watch. The episodes chronicle the missions, in succeeding order, but each is told from a different perspective. My favorite, "Spider," is on right now and is about the development of the Lunar Module. It's a wonderful, wonderful series. Go! Watch!

(And, to add add to my last post, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention how much I love the epsidoe of "From The Earth To The Moon" with Harrison Schmidt and the geology. Good stuff.)
