I woke up at 3:45am to take care of Sally and rush to the airport for my 6:30am flight. The plane was small. Very small. Terrifyingly small. But I drugged myself and climbed aboard for the hour and thirty minute flight to Buffalo. Except there was fog in Buffalo and, after flying around for a while, we landed in Rochester and were bussed to Buffalo. So the morning was an adventure. But I made it there and back safely, the meeting went well, and Sally was napping peacefully when I got home. I can handle a diversion as long as it ends well.

I got back in time for The West Wing and now I'm hankering for some Sam/Ainsley fic. It was the State of the Union episode and I want to read how Sam comforts Ainsley after her run in with the President in the Steam Pipe Trunk Distribution Venue.

There's also a Hermione/Remus fic I want to read but I need to wait until I'm not this tired.

The lawyer sent the mortgage package and, barring unforeseen Fed Ex delays, I should have it tomorrow morning. I need to get over to a notary and sign everything before the 4pm Fed Ex pick up to ensure it's back to my lawyer by Thursday. The only snag is that my closing credit for the dry wall work isn't included in the HUD statement. I'm told that's an easy fix but I need to get on it first thing tomorrow. Some things in this chaos can wait but I'm not screwing with the closing.
