Happy Birthday [livejournal.com profile] topaz119! I hope it's a fabulous day!

And a special 130th Birthday wish to Mary, Helen, Ida, Frances, and Elizabeth. Thanks for coming together then and bringing us together now.
Sally cried the entire way to the vet and, unexplainably, once we arrived I started crying, too. They brought us to the exam room and, the second I stepped in, something snapped and I couldn't stop the tears. She's just so little. But Sally's feline leukemia test was negative and she had her first round of vaccines today. She was a very brave girl and the vet said she is the most adorable cat she's ever seen in all her years of practice very cute.
John Michael Montgomery has this new song "Letters From Home" that makes me cry every damn time I hear it. It's about a boy off fighting and the letters he gets from home.

I hold it up and show my buddies, Like we ain't scared and our boots ain't muddy. )

Has anyone else heard this song? I'm not traditionally a JMM fan. He has that song about the little girl with the drunk dad and the drug addict mom who fight all the time and won't take her to church until, finally, the dad shoots the mom, kills himself, and she's adopted by good parents who hug her and kiss her and take her to church. I hate that song. A lot. But this new one slays me. [livejournal.com profile] newdaydawning? You must know what I'm talking about.

The CMA's are on CBS right now. I think I missed Tim McGraw. I get the sense that he was on at the beginning of the show. I know I don't have many country music fans on my friends list but did anyone catch his performance? Is it possible that I didn't miss him?

Also. It didn't take much but [livejournal.com profile] stargems has fully immersed me in the love that is Sonny and Jason.
