I've recently read a few unfavorable articles about Splenda/sucralose and, even though none of the detractor's claims are proven, neither is the long term safety of sucralose.
I'm a Splenda addict. Splenda in my oatmeal, Splenda in my tea, in my coffee, Splenda anywhere and everywhere I need sweetener. On top of that are the artificial sweeteners in my Sierra Mist Free and diet 7-up and crystal light. I ingest chemicals upon chemicals upon chemicals and I'm starting to think I need to go a bit more natural.
ACK! It's so hard. I switched from 2 packets of Splenda in my oatmeal to 2 tsps of brown sugar. The tea is more difficult. How do I make it sweet enough? And what about diet soda? If I'm not willing to drink caloric beverages all day, are there any options besides water?
Clearly my will to flush my system of chemicals will have to be stronger than my desire for flavor.
In other news, I'm about half way through season one of Boston Legal and need to ask, Why haven't I been watching this show since day one? It's laugh out loud funny.
