I'm just about through with season 4 of The L Word and it's safe to say I've never wanted to see harm come to a character the way I want to see Jenny eviscerated. She's such a self absorbed, manipulative, selfish fucking cunt. I hate her. I hate Bette, too, for being an elitist, controlling wench but my hate for Bette pales in comparison to the way I feel about Jenny. You might say The L Word elicits strong emotions.

On the flip side, I have completely come around to the cult of Alice. Same for Helena. Shane continues enthrall me, Papi's awesome, and Tasha rocks my world. Damn, Tasha.

I slept for 11 hours last night and now I'm contemplating a nap. At some point today, before Plum Market closes, I have to head out to buy cheese for a party tomorrow. That's it on my agenda, though. I have 83475436 books piled in stacks waiting for me. I'm hoping to finish The Age of Entanglement today and then get started on Monstrous Regiment by Terry Pratchett. I joined a book club and MR is their January read.

But first, a nap.

"Apollo 8, the first manned mission to the Moon, entered lunar orbit on Christmas Eve, December 24, 1968. That evening, the astronauts; Commander Frank Borman, Command Module Pilot Jim Lovell, and Lunar Module Pilot William Anders did a live television broadcast from lunar orbit, in which they showed pictures of the Earth and Moon seen from Apollo 8.

Lovell said, 'The vast loneliness is awe-inspiring and it makes you realize just what you have back there on Earth.' They ended the broadcast with the crew taking turns reading from the book of Genesis." [source]
