worldwouldend for being thoughtful and kind and absolutely making my day with one surprisingly wonderful gesture. Thank you.
Dinner tonight was wonderful but I've got to admit that it's awkward when one set of parents think it's a 50/50 kind of deal and the other parents think they're being treated. Good thing Bri and I are close enough to glide right thought that and laugh off the very awkward moment. Aren't we too old for this by now? We were tempted to just jump in and pay for it ourselves.
So. My bellybutton. I have it pierced. But the top piece fell off the stud. I can't take it out because it will close. And I can't get another stud until tomorrow. So I have my piercing all bandaided to my belly so it doesn't fall out. It looks ridiculous. It feels ridiculous. But it's all I can think of. And I like the stud I have now. It's silver and baby blue and sparkly. So lunch tomorrow is a trip to the village to get a new one.
