This vacation has been pure indulgence in relaxation, sun, sleep, and alcohol but I will be very glad to get home. There's a lot of baggage that comes with any family vacation and I'll leave it at that.
Today we actually left the resort and went to a beach in Sosua. The ocean is gorgeous. And I'm doing all I can not to fry in the sun. It's hot.
I've been reading the SeSa stories I printed on our terrace every night before bed and every morning. I've had to ration them since the stash was limited but it's been such a treat every day. I think my step-brother is incredibly curious about the printouts in the plastic bag but he's going to have to stay that way. There's only so much family sharing I can take in one week.
I read a Timbertone that just melted me. Closure is the perfect mix of Joey/Justin and his relationship with the rest of the guys. You have to love Justin when you read this story but you also have to love Joey, Chris, JC, and Lance. Plus...Timbertone. There's not enough Joey/Justin out there.
So, two more days here and back home Wednesday night for New Year's Eve with Cel and Shorty. Plan something fun, ladies! ;)
EDIT: We're talking about CFTC VI already? Didn't we just get home from Miami, like, last week?
