Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] apetslife and her patience, I'm reacquainted with basic guitar cords and I'm well on my way to guitar playing ability that will rival Hendrix. Or, at the very least and in the distant future, I'll be able to play the Indigo Girls catalog.

I'm not so sure that Pet was up for the idea but I really think we should form a sister act. It will be just like Velma Kelly and Roxy Hart. All of the mystery and intrigue but sans murder. Can't you picture it now?

Also on yesterday's agenda was a rendezvous with [livejournal.com profile] eleanor_lavish. I've got to say that meeting someone at their office is a hell of a lot more fun when their office is The Museum of Natural History. So damn cool. And there was beer and guacamole and quesadillas and LotR squee, too.

In fact, I woke up to this icon.

Funny woman, that EL.

Tonight is a west village bar crawl with the not-boyfriend. Gonna go get me stinkin' trashed. (Or, uh, a little buzzed. I've turned into such a lightweight.)

1. What is your favorite series finale?
Star Trek: TNG. No question. I was so, so sad when that show ended and the series finale was such a big deal for me. I love the last scene when they're all around the poker table and you get the camera view from above.

2. What is your favorite exit for a character?
It's a toss up between Rosalind Shay (?) falling down the elevator shaft on L.A. Law and Bobby's death on NYPD Blue. Perfect endings for both.

3. What is your favorite beginning of a relationship?
I loved when Grace and Victor got together on L.A. Law. I can still remember the scene...Grace unbuckling his belt. I taped that episode and watched it over and over again. I think I was 12 or 13 at the time and it stuck with me since then.

4. What is your favorite introduction of a character?
There is a long list from Buffy. They did a great job bringing in new characters...especially the bad guys. (Though the introduction of Dawn sucked.)

5. What is your favorite pilot episode?
So tough but I'm going to have to go with the pilot episode of X-Files. I loved that episode and it set everything up very well. And it was so different from anything I'd seen before.
