I've been somewhat low key about JC's upcoming promo blitz. Perhaps it's because we've seen "Some Girls" performed a number of times over the past three months or because of the numerous and interminable delays of his album. Or maybe I've changed. All I know is that the urgency and pressing need with which I used to approach JC performances/appearances/etc. has morphed into something decidedly more subtle.
That said, I bounced last night when I saw the first commercial for Leno during L&O:SVU. The shot of JC in his outfit with the girls behind him made it real. After all of this time, it's nice to see JC out there, on network TV, plugging his album. I imagine he's been itching for this for a while.
The appearance itself was as expected but I absolutely did not anticipate loving his outfit so much. The pants! The jacket! The shirt! The boots! It all worked for me down to the smallest detail. I think he pulled it off perfectly and not many people could have.
I threw in this second one simply because he's stunning.

Of all of his appearances, I'm most looking forward to Ellen. I'd love to see her to give him hell for his single as only she can.
In the end though, all I really want right now is the music.
