Seriously...what a night. A new Star Trek movie and time spend with a whole big bunch of 'Nsync fans. And, dude, we're hard core.
First Star Trek.
Watching Star Trek: Nemesis was like going to a family reunion. I wish I could explain how important Star Trek: TNG was to me while it was on the air. Seeing the 7 of them together again brought tears to my eyes. If you thinkg hiatus!nsync is bad, try dealing with hiatus!TNG. It's years between movies and then BOOM. Here it is. I didn't read one spoiler prior to seeing the movie. So I loved it, flaws and all. ANd the end...sigh. I won't go into the teary details since
dj_writes hasn't seen the movie yet and I don't want to spoil it.
And then there were the 'Nsync fans at the Times Square Hilton.
After the movie I came back into NYC and met up with someone from the JJB who I know. She has a ticket for me to tomorrow's matinee of RENT. Well she's in town with about 15 JJB'ers to see RENT tomorrow. We sat in the hotel and told stories for about an hour and a half. I don't know everyone's name but all the girls are great and are not part of the scary/overwhelming JJB contingency. They even gave me copies of some of their Atlantis and soundcheck pics. Of JC. Nice.
Final thought of the evening: I love the Star Trek:TNG family. I *heart* my new 'Nsync fan friends.
