Nothing makes my day like a meeting with a hot executive today. Good looking and powerful. It's the perfect combination. I want to call him and make lunch plans but I need an actual reason. "You're hot and powerful" probably won't cut it.

babygotbass. Hobbits! And what perfect timing!
I'm enjoying the 10 multi-fandom moments meme so I decided to play, too. These are definitely moments that stuck with me over the years.
NSA at San Diego Sports Arena. (2000) I didn't know what to expect. I barely knew their names. But when Chris, Lance, JC, Justin, and Joey came down on those marionette strings I was hooked and hooked hard. They just had it. The look. The energy. The talent. I'm so grateful to my friend CB who literally dragged me to the concert.
Stone's death scene on GH. (1996?) My roommate and I sat in our dorm room and sobbed and sobbed and sobbed. It was hokey and corny ("I can see you, Robin!") but we were devastated. Every girl in my 4:10pm chem class showed up with red, puffy eyes.
Final episode of Star Trek:TNG. (2004) I never felt a loss at the end of a TV series the way I did when ST:TNG went off the air. I remember sitting in my room as the final scene ended, all seven around the poker table, thinking "this is it."
My first Star Trek convention. (1992) Simultaneously, I felt completely out of place and completely at home. There were all of these people who loved Star Trek as much as I did. The only difference was that most of them weren't dressed as 20th century humans. Star Fleet personnel, Vulcans, Cardassians, and Klingons as far as the eye could see!
The Two Towers. (2003) The scene where Brego wakes up Aragorn at the river bank and he rides to Rohan for a homoerotic reunion with Legolas...that was the scene where I knew my LotR fandom revolved around Aragorn. The dirt, the determination, the resilience, the resolve. Love it. I fell hard and fast and there's no going back.
The Jive showcase. (2003) I've had some great fan moments with 'Nsync but this was, hands down, the most incredible of them all. I'd never seen JC like that, had no idea what he was capable of, and was completely blown away. And grateful. Hell, I'm still grateful. The thrill and excitement of that night still gets me when I think about it.
Tim McGraw Soul 2 Soul Tour (2000) It's hard to pick the best Tim McGraw fan moment but I think this is it simply because it was the first time I ever saw him perform live and I stood in awe for 90 minutes. If you have a chance, see Tim live. Pay for good seats and go see him live. He's a force.
Joey in RENT (2002) I saw Joey in RENT a lot. No, really, a lot. No, even more than that. But the best time was probably the first time I won lottery seats. He was right there, just doing his thing on stage, and I loved every second of it. It didn't matter that he wasn't "Mark" as the role was conceived, he was and always will be my favorite.
ALCS Game 5 2001 Yankee Stadium. Pettitte pitching. We won and went on to the World Series. Best.Game.Ever.
Warren Beatty on Arsenio Hall (1990?) Up until that appearance, I thought that Charles Grodin was Warren Beatty. But then Warren walked out in his Dick Tracy coat and I was a changed girl. "Bonnie & Clyde" "Reds" "Shampoo" "Heaven Can Wait" "Splendor in the Grass" It all started with that appearance.
