What were the last shows to generate this much hype when they went off the air? "Seinfeld?" "Cheers?" This entire week, NBC has been one big "Friends" fest. But, truth be told, I'm feeling all nostalgic about the end of the show. 10 years! The show debuted my freshman year of college. That seems like another lifetime. And I hate the expectation that's built up. Is there any way the finale can possibly meet the hype?

It's also got me thinking about other series finales that left me whimpering. "Family Ties" with the final bow. "Buffy" and Anya! But the one that got me the most was the final episode of "Star Trek: TNG." I wanted that show to go on forever. I think I sobbed for the entire two hours.

Are there any series finales that stuck with you? Ones you were anticipating? Ones with big twists? Ones that completely let your down (Seinfeld) or left you hanging (Dynasty)?

Also...mtv has a vote for the best movie awards performance. Vote for 'Nysnc here. Cornrow Justin. Mmmmm.
