NYC is littered with promo for PoA. My family came into Manhattan today for brunch and, as we wandered around, we saw ad after ad after ad after ad. And then we saw gold. Stapled around some light poles were my favorite promo pieces of them all. So I swiped one. And then I walked around the city asking strangers if they've seen this wizard. A few funny looks, a few people who claimed to have seen him, and a few people who squealed with glee and mumbled about June 4th. It seems that New York loves Harry.
I bought Love Actually today. I haven't even seen the movie yet but I adore Laura Linny and heard wonderful things so it seemed like a good buy. Tonight I'm going out for a friend's birthday at a bar down on Delancy. And I've decided to wait to see Troy umtil Lex gets here next week. I've read some less than favorable reviews about Orlando's performance. He's quite pretty but I hope his acting starts to stand out, too. He needs a chance to prove it. Though, I have a feeling that face will carry him for a long while.
