i suppose the simple answer is to make them myself...
The great thing about icon communities are the icons. Like these. Oh, how I want the animated rock and roll Dan. The frustrating part of icon communities, aside from the sheer volume of posts, is that 57409384759 other people are taking the same icon as you. Wecons of one picture happen and are understandably unavoidable but I want something about my icons to be unique. I don't want to share an icon with a long list of people unless there's good reason e.g. the one face. So I must master photoshop.
Off to a wedding on Long Island today. The date is out of town for a spur of the moment business trip so it's just me. Ceremony at 3:15pm. Then to my mother's house for an appearance at a birthday/engagement party for my sister. Then the wedding reception at 6:30pm. My dress is strapless and I think I need to have it taken in a bit. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping there are no unfotunate dress accidents on the dance floor.
