Sat down around midnight to check e-mail before bed and was up until 3:30am reading Growing Pains, Tira Nog's sequel to A Nick in Time. A bit melodramatic at times and ejaculation should never be referred to as a man's "gift" but, overall, an emotional and fitting sequel. Oh, and hot. Very, very hot. Went to the San Diego County Fair yesterday and then out for Mexican food in Old Town. The weather's been absolutely perfect. Today's a pool party and then Vegas! I also smartened up and changed my return flight to leave from Vegas rather than flying back to San Diego only to get on a plane an hour and a half later to go back to NY.
