I think I'm officially too old for this. I got to Radio City for Maroon 5 just before 5am and got in line with throngs of teenagers and tourists. I met a mom and her kid from Alabama, a mom and her kids from Florida, and a teenage boy from California who kept asking me what I saw on 9/11 and if I knew anyone who died. That was coupled with the girls who kept screaming, "ADAAAAAM! I WANT TO HAVE YOUR BAAAAABYYYYY!" once we were allowed into soundcheck.

But Maroon 5 kicks ass. They're so damn good. They played "Harder to Breathe," "This Love," and "She Will Be Loved" a few times each. (I have an mp3 of "She Will Be Loved." If anyone's interested, hit me up via e-mail and I'll send you a link.) I watched the soundcheck and then took off. I really need to get some tickets for Maroon 5 on Long Island in August.

I didn't know of this archive until yesterday but Walking the Plank is a Harry/Snape archive. Much like SSFF, story links take you to the main page but everything's a bit more organized and it's all Harry/Snape, all the time.

I think it's still the 18th in New Zealand...if not, these are belated birthday wishes to [livejournal.com profile] jchalo. I hope it was a great one!

And GIP! From [livejournal.com profile] batgrrl1975. My first new pop icon in a while. I love the vacant, haunted look in Justin's eyes.

I've started on a large diet coke from McDonalds. It's going to be a loooooong Friday.
