What an angst fest. Not just suspense, which there was also a bit of, but tons of angst. Peter Parker is the most tortured superhero ever to hit the big screen. Angst about Mary Jane. Angst about his complicity in his uncle's death. Angst about school and work. Angst about his inability to save everyone.
I'm not a huge fan of the genre but it was a solid movie. A couple of poignant moments. A couple of over the top moments. It's going to make meeeeelions of dollars.

cranberryink convinced me to read Origins of Myth by Arsenic. It's Ron/Draco and I don't read Draco. Or Ron. But I acquiesced and she was right. The story worked and actually made me feel something for Draco other than irritation though I'm not sure I'm ready for more. At the very least, it will have to be post Hogwarts. What I am left with is a desire to read Hermione/Snape. (Part of my thing about Draco fic is that I don't like him and I don't want to like him. I prefer to be irritated whenever he's around. A sympathetic Draco messes with my sensibilities.)Off to lunch with Cel. Jamba Juice again! I'm thinking a protein berry pizazz with an immunity boost.
