Last night I was walking home from the yogurt place on 86th and Broadway and, as I came around the corner on to 96th, a man grabbed my arm and started screaming about how I was going to be his. All these people just stood there watching. I finally pulled away and he grabbed on to my shirt one more time before I was able to run down the street and into a diner. I don't know the last time I was that shaken and scared. A waitress in the diner gave me a glass of ice water and offered to call the cops to escort me home if he was still outside when I left. This guy's grip went all the way around my bicep and he was holding on tight. It's only the second time I've worried about my safety in the city. I hate feeling vulnerable. I don't have any intention of changing my routine but I think I need to be more aware when I walk around at night.

But enough of that. Some linkage:

Photos of Orlando in KY for E-Town. His face has filled out so much recently. And he has a new haircut. How many days until Kingdom of Heaven?

A lovely little Bill/Remus story of the PWP variety. I love this pairing, particularly when Remus isn't brooding over Sirius.

A drabble from this week's snape_100 challenge - Snape says "thank you." 100 words that will make you ache. Very well done.

Lunch with Cel and then downtown tonight for dinner with a friend from high school. Maybe some work in between.
