The highlight of this week was the move into an office I've shamelessly coveted for months. It faces south so I have a new view of NYC. The Empire State Building is right outside my window and I see downtown Manhattan which is, obviously, far from the sight it used to be.
The view outside my window.

The magazines displayed on my ledge. Until yesterday, Justin on Vibe was where Viggo is but I felt an odd need to even things out so I'm left with one Viggo, one Justin, and on 'Nsync group. The magazines behind are, of course, all of the 'Nsync variety.

And this is simply to show off my Gryffindor patch which I display proudly. And, uh, with courage. Just like a true Gryffindor. ;)

mostlikelyto reported exciting news about TWW season three DVDs! I've been waiting and waiting and waiting for these!
Another reason to look forward to Election Day: Warner has announced The West Wing: The Complete Third Season as well for release on 11/2 (SRP $59.98). This will also be a 4-disc set with video in anamorphic widescreen and audio in English Dolby Digital 2.0 surround. Once again, there's no word on extras, but they'll all be included on Disc Four of the set. (from http://www.thedigitalbits.com)
I took November 3rd as a vacation day. If all goes well I'll sleep in, basking in the warm after glow of a Kerry win, and spend the day watching season 3 of The West Wing.
Tonight is the going away party for a boy I could love which sounds melodramatic but, in all honesty, I think I'll allow myself a bit of wallowing for the next week or so. Then he's off to London and I'll have to satisfy myself with e-mails and updates from his new life. *wallow* *wallow* *wallow*
