powrhug for the new year wishes, particularly the ones in Hebrew. I'm suitably impressed!
I'm off to my mother's tonight for the Jewish holiday. It's a lot of family and religion over a short period of time but it's also very comforting and, amazingly, we still go to the same synagogue that my parents went to when they were kids. There are all sorts of memories rolled into the holidays which, I suppose, is the same for everyone regardless of faith.
Tonight, in the comfort of my childhood bedroom, I'll read a bit of the Hermione/Snape fic that's been appearing all day on my friends page. Hopefully some of it is actually worth reading.
I also heard from my boss today who had encouraging information. Today I place the odds of me going at 3:1 in favor of Florida.
