Good grief! What a night!

stargems is sitting next to me right now. We're watching my tape of 'Nsync on "Larry King Live" while I update and then it will be her turn.Let me break it down:
Pre-show:
I'll sum it up with this quote by Stargems, I'm so excited I could skip right now. But I wont make you skip.

The Show
I love it. I just absolutely love this show. And I love Joey in it.
Manley was out so Chad was in as Roger. He was fantastic.
Maggie was out so Amy was in as Maureen. Suprisingly good.
And Joey is funnier and smarter and more true and honest every time I see the show. Just great shit.

<Post Show</b>
I had the plan so that we could bust out of the theater and get to the barricade so Stargems and E. could get Joey's autograph. It was so crowded that I decided to sit this one out. I gave E. my camera and I went off to meet some of the other cast members. I met Mark (Tom Collins), Karmine (Mimi), Chad (Roger understudy) and Amy (Mark's mother/Maureen's understudy.)
They were all wonderful. I spoke with Amy for a little while about the dynamics of the show and how Joey has evolved. She said that Joey works <i>so</i> hard and, while all of the other cast members call out on a regular basis, Joey is <i>always</i> there for the fans.
(I did slip E. my playbill after I got the other cast members' autographs so I can work a Playbill will all of their autographs on it.)
So, yeah, Joey came out. And I'll let <lj site="livejournal.com" user="stargems"> fill you in on that b/c I was watching from a distance.
<b>Post post show</b>
So we hit the bars. Because...yes.
At the first bar, the DJ played a set made in heaven for us:

Hell yeah we made a scene and went nuts on the dance floor.
After that we went to a bar with a live band. Drank some more. Danced some more. And I met a nice Aussie boy who actually said he likes Bye, Bye, Bye, and LILY. He toasted to Justin's solo career. I'm not sure if that gave him points or took them away. But glad to know he likes our boys.
Overall rating for the evening: 9.5
(.5 points are deducted because I didn't get to have a beer with/hump Joey. Until that happens, the exprience will always lack at least 1/2 a ratings point.)
