My Joey encounter...weeeeeeeeee!

Weeeeeeeeeeee! I am so fucking giddy right now.

I finally had my full on Joey enounter

stargems, I'm sorry for blowing out your ear drum but I had to call.



So, here's what happened:

I was inspired by hotforjoshtin. I mean, here I am, a full fledged Rent whore and I still haven't had a great encounter.

I went to the theater after work to try for lottery tickets but I didn't win. While I was there I saw a bunch of people who are always at the show. (This matters later...)

So, I decided that, even though I didn't get tickets, I was going to wait for Joey and get a good picture and really meet the kid. Not the way I have been in the mobbed madness after the show.

There I was "patiently waiting in a convenient location" for about 30 minutes when, all of a sudden, I see the Yukon pulling around the corner. I am the only one in front of the theater except for two of the girls who I saw at the lottery. I grabbed them and asked them to please take a picture of me with Joey.

So, Joey get's out of the Yukon and I called over to him:

Saturn: Hey Joey. Can I get a picture with you?

Joey: Sure hon.

(So Joey puts his arm around me and I give my camera to Rent girl.)

Rent Girl (looks at camera all confused): What do you look through?

Joey: Um, that little rectangular glass viewfinder thingy...

(everyone laughs)

Rent Girl: I home you screw up tonight!

(Everyone laughs again and I'm trying not to freak out b/c his arm is still around me. Rent Girl finally takes the picture.)

Saturn: Thanks so much!

Joey: Anytime.

Saturn: You are so great in Rent, Joey. :)

Joey: Thanks!

Saturn: You know, I hated "The Tango Maureen" until I saw you in it.

Joey: Really? Why?

Saturn: It used to bore me. But you add your stuff to it. And it's great!

Joey: Well, I try. *grins* Thanks!

There you have it! Whoo hoo! I took my film in right away so hopefully I'll finally have that picture I've been waiting for.
