I love that Sheen, Janney, Schiff, and Whitford came out first. The flowers for Ellen in honor of John Spencer was a nice touch.
The Janney love!
Schiff: "First and foremost I'll miss acting with this lady."
Janney: "I flirt with you all shamelessly."
Whitford: "I thought it was just me."
Bradley Whitford is a bit irresistable when he's laughing.
Classic Sheen? The photo of him in the Ellen underwear and the Sheen/Hill handshake! OMG! THE LOVE! Dule Hill and Martin Sheen have a HANDSHAKE and Sheen learned from Laurence Fishburn years ago!
Ellen asking Brad about what will happen with Donna: "In our fictional heads after the show is over?"
The John Spencer clip was better than what the show did and the cast looked pained when it was through. A lovely tribute and the Grip and Flip clip was hysterical.
I love how casually Jimmy Smits was dressed. (And Brad Whitford, too.) Which clearly means I must slash them.
Alan Alda: "It was the most exciting thing I think I've ever done as an actor...I loved being out there with Jimmy." (They did a different live version for the west coast?!?! That's fabulous. I'd love to see the two back to back.)
Whitford: So you're married to the prop guy?
Alda: That's how I got the job.
Janney on what she's keeping from the set: "I have the president's balls." The cast reaction was as funny as the comment itself.
Mary McCormick is gorgeous. And, if he hadn't already won me over, Josh Malina would have done it with this, "How about hiring a less famous, less good-looking actor who'd be willing to work for less money?"
Did you see Martin Sheen with a Gail the Golfish fishbowl at the end?
I love them all. I'm so grateful to Ellen for this episode. (I'm continually checking for torrents.)
And
I leave you with a quote:
Sam: Where are you going?
Josh: Where are you going?
Sam: I was following you.
Josh: I was following you. All right, don't tell anyone this happened, okay?
