Best SGA episode EVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEER! In no particular order:

* The entire scene on the planet with Rodney and the arrow from, "THAT DID NOT JUST HAPPEN!!" to John helping Rodney to the gate. With MASSIVE bonus points for, "Have you seen a...guy...around? He looks like you but he's got messy hair. I think I lost him somewhere. And a pretty girl and a caveman." David Hewlett fucking rocks.

* John going to see Rodney as he's working on the signal for the tracking device. I love how he just slides down on the ground next to Rodney and, in my head, he slides his hand very softly, very gently down Rodney's back just to the swell of his arrow pierced ass.

* John's confessional on the Deadalus. It was kind of silly up until the end when John's eyes GLISTENED WITH TEARS.

* "And Ronon appears to be quite angry." Oh, Teyla. Her straightforward way of stating the obvious was never more perfect than right there.

* Every. single. thing. about angry!Ronon on the Sateda from the flashbacks to his slo-mo kick ass fighting skills.

* Rodney and Carson fighting over the gun. Hahahaha!


I loved this episode so, so, soooooooooooooooooo much!


I'll never approach a Daniel free episode with the same enthusiasm as when he's there but, really, you can't go wrong with Ba'al. It kind of throws me that, suddenly in s9, the Goa'uld no longer need to speak with ampli-voice and Ba'al did torture Jack something fierce but, somehow, I get a kick out of the direction they've taken him and 9445984745 Ba'als are even more fun than one. (All of that said, I really want to see Jack take him out once and for all.)


I'm back in Michigan and Sally is a little limpet on my lap. She's the best.
