• I have an embarrassing urge to buy some Stargate stamps. I know I'd never use them (which, I suppose, is their point) but these are the kind of impulse purchases I need to QUIT.
  
  
• SG-1 fic recs: Don't Get Around Much Anymore and Until Tomorrow by princessofg. I read these both a while ago but I recently reread them and you should to. I love the character voices and the dynamic between Jack & Daniel.
  
  
• Work is Stressful and I wish I was comfortable talking about it in more detail but I always envision my boss placing a printed copy of one of my posts in front of me and that's enough to stop me cold.
  
  
• I got some outstanding health news recently. Anyone who was following along might remember that I had some genetic testing to see if I carry the breast cancer/ovarian cancer gene mutation that my mother has. I got my results back and, right there, in big bold letters it says, "NO MUTATION DETECTED." The fact that both my sister and I are clear is almost too much to process. My mom's not a crier but this news did it.
  
  
• I still own my home in FL. There's nothing else to say about that circumstance that won't make me throw up.
  
  
• I have a date next Monday night. It's a first date, he's nice (and attractive), and spring brings on the dating buzz. Perhaps, someday soon, someone will stick.
  
  
• My time with my trainer is almost at an end and I'm not sure I'm ready to give her up. (I wouldn't if it weren't for issues associated with the bullet two up from this one.) She pushes me and motivates me and she's excellent at helping me understand smart ways to build endurance and strength.
