• A meme from [livejournal.com profile] splifford! I love this one. Play with me!!

    1. Post a list of seven ten TV shows you love (current or canceled).
    2. Have your friends list guess your favorite character from each show.
    3. When guessed, bold the line and write a little bit about why you like that character.
    4. Post in your own journal.

    1. Star Trek: TNG - I was 16 and Riker was my man. Besides, I think I have a thing for men with beards.
    2. The West Wing - Sam! I loved them all but Sam was my favorite. He was so earnest. And smart. And he had this great way of tripping over himself.
    3. CSI - Hahaha! Is it any question this is Grissom? My love for him is inappropriate given he's a fictional character.
    4. Stargate SG-1 - I must have a thing for the smart guys. Daniel was my favorite through the entire series but I particularly like him in the later seasons when he's jaded enough to have a dangerous edge about him.
    5. Stargate: Atlantis - I love Ronon. He's so brave and strong and funny when you least expect it and much smarter than anyone originally gave him credit for.
    6. House - Wilson is the best trusty sidekick ever.
    7. Scarecrow & Mrs. King - I want to grow up and be Amanda King! Reallly, I do!
    8. Battlestar Galactica - I love Roslin as much for her strengths as I do for her flaws. She's smart, strong, beautiful and courageous but she's also, sometimes, too single minded and stubborn for her own good.
    9. Criminal Minds - Criminal Minds was difficult for me because Reid is so, so fabulous but there's something about Hotch, you know? He's the one I want to go home with. He's the one I want to distract from the madness of their days.
    10. Friends - Rachel!

  • The SG-1 episode where Sam's stuck on the planet that was bombed by Anubis' drones is on which means so is Carmen Argenziano. All of this is to say, I loved him on House!!

  • Also about SG-1, over the past 8 or 9 months, I've been lending my SG-1 DVDs to a colleague. I recently mentioned my frustration that I bought seasons 1- 8 before they came out in slimline and she said she may be interested in buying my DVDs at a discount so I can buy the nifty SG-1 Series box set. I did the math and, with my discount plus tax, it would cost $278. I can sell her the 10 seasons for $25 each which saves her money on the total but only puts me out $28 to upgrade to the box set. I'm crossing my fingers that she's in on the deal. ([livejournal.com profile] cranberryink...I may have to come calling for my DVDs back but, if I do, I'll send you the slim line versions once I upgrade.)

  • Someone on [livejournal.com profile] rob_daily posted a photo from an upcoming episode without a cut tag. GRRRR. It wasn't tremendously spoilery (and he was very pretty) but it's the principle. I prefer that spoilers only come my way when I actively seek them out. DOUBLE GRRRR.

  • I get a [livejournal.com profile] kiffle tomorrow!! I'm so excited. She'll meet Sally and then it's a road trip to Chicago where Jared and Jensen are waiting for us. It's the perfect end to this year's con season.
