I'm back from my weekend in NY. Going there's cathartic. Coming back is cathartic. It's win/win. Plus, Chase is awesome and my sister keeps my world steady.
I saw my grandmother off to Israel at the airport tonight. She's a modern marvel. Seriously. I'm in awe that, at 80, she's off to Israel for a week on her own 60 years after she made her first trip to Israel - on her own.
On the way to NY Friday afternoon we flew over an astonishing blanket of clouds. I wanted to hop onto a jet ski and go for a ride.

Last night, my sister, brother in law, and I passed this house on the way home from dinner. As cranberryink said, the Griswalds have invaded Long Island. OH, MY GOD THEIR POOR NEIGHBORS.
That's all I've got. I have 4937539475 tabs open but I think I'm going to grab a glass of wine, watch episode 02x04 of The L Word and go to bed.
