Slowly but surely, BMU is moving up the Z100 play list. It appears to be the “little song that could” making waves months after release. So, I called Z100 today for the official scoop on voting tabulation. And suffered much mocking from my co-workers as I asked very detailed questions.

Btw, BMU made today’s high noon countdown! Unfortunately, someone else already introduced that song so I had to introduce Bump! Bump! Bump! Hey! It’s better than introducing Celine.

Here’s the deal:

Z100 has a nationwide, toll-free number: 1-800-242-0100. Kind of them isn’t it?

Interactive 9@9- Voting for the Interactive 9@9 is tabulated all day long. Any time you call in during the day, the votes are used for the 9pm countdown with Romeo. You can vote on-line here.

High Noon Countdown- Votes that come in from the time the Interactive 9@9 ends, until appx. 10am, count towards the High Noon Countdown. You can vote on-line for the High Noon Countdown here.

Carson’s Countdown- Votes that come in throughout the day are also counted towards Carson’s countdown. The voting for the Interactive 9@9 and Carson’s Countdown appear to be the same so I asked the station why the countdowns often differ drastically. Calls that come in from 6pm until the Interactive 9@9 is finalized count towards the 9pm tally but not towards Carson. The countdowns are often very different because of the change in demographic that starts calling in after 6pm.

You can also e-mail Cubby and Romeo to vote:
Cubby@z100.com
Romeo@z100.com.

Now go vote! I told Z100 to expect us. :)
