I don't know if she wants to be called out by name but [my guardian angel] came through and secured a ticket for me at this Friday's Holy Frak! BSG in HD seminar at the Museum of Television and Radio! Eeeeeeeee! Mary McDonnell! Edward James Olmos! JAMIE BAMBER! I'm taking a personal day on Friday so I can fly up well in time for the 6pm event. Yay!

The guy in NY was thinking about coming down to visit me this weekend so, instead, we're going to go out on Friday night after the event. And this also gives me the opportunity to surprise my sister at her 27th birthday party on Saturday night. (It's on Long Island but anyone interested in venturing out to join us is welcome. Kiffle? Eleanor Lavish? Rossetti? Schuyler? Thegayboyfriend?)

In equally squee-worthy news, I'm itching for Justin's new album. It's been waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too long. Way too long.

In anything but squee worth news, I hereby declare and decree that my CSI days will end with Billy Petersen's last episode. Carol Mendelsohn's fooling herself if she truly believes the show's greatness exists outside any of one of them. (Link contains season finale spoilers.)
