liz_w and I had seats in the first row, seats 111 and 112. Damn good seats. Thanks to Heather.
Great highlights tonight.
1) Fun dinner with Liz. (I know, I know...I can be picky but at least California Pizza Kitchen has good sandwhiches.) And I'll never look at MBP the same way again. :)
2) Um. Sebastian issues. Because, yes. We were standing outside when he arrived at the theater and told us he was in as Roger. We squealed. Perhaps shreiked. It was a bit embarrassing. For us and him. But, personally, I couldn't help myself. It's Sebastian, you know?
3) Dana was in as Mimi. Fucking scary hair. And girlfriend is seriously skinny.
4) Towards the beginning of the show, Liz leaned towards me and said, "Joey was just looking at you." That pretty much fucked me up for the rest of the show. Every time we made eye contact I got a bit giddy. Can't help it. Joey issues, too.
5) Talked to P and some crew guys for a bit during intermission. They are some funny, funny guys.
6) Seat 112 always freaks me out during curtain call b/c Joey is right in front of me. Okay, I like it. But it does freak me out. I feel like a dork standing and clapping in his face. Actually, it's more like clapping in his crotch. Liz asked if I want to grab his scarf. I'm more tempted to grab something else.
7) During curtain call, Stu looked down and saw me and gave me my own little smile. *swoon* Did I mention major Stu issues?
8) After the show there was hardly anyone at the barricade so I decided to hang around for Joey. First, I waited for Stu. He came out. Said, "Hi Joanna. Good to see you tonight." Then he gave me a hug and a kiss on the cheek. *thud* Think he goes to Suede on Tuesday nights when it's not Pimps 'n Ho's night? I really should have asked him. Anyone know if he's married? *sigh*
9) Joey came out of the theater wearing a shirt that said, "I only read it for the articles." He hit the other side of the barricade first and then made his way over to my side. When he saw me he grabbed my hand and said, "Hey! How ya doing?" I leaned in to him and said, "Hey Joey? I don't read if for the articles." He asked me what I said and I repeated it to him. Then he looked at me and said, "You know what? Either do I." *g* Later, two women wanted to know how I know him. Again, all I could say was, "I come here a lot."
10) After Joey left, Liz grabbed me by the scarf and took me to say hi to Sebastian. Which is good b/c I probably wouldn't have had the nerve. Little fucker does that to me. I gave him some shit for the candle problems he had during LMC. Why am I such a dork around him? Liz...do you have any ideas? I seem to have diarrhea of the mouth when he's around. Little fucker. :b
Think that covers it. I need to rest. Suede tomorrow night. Maybe this weekend I'll sleep...
