So, Tim McGraw...

Unbelievable.

I woke up at 5am. That's one hour of sleep after getting in from Suede at close to 4am. (Thanks to Shorty for waking up, too. It was so great to finally meet you! We have to go out drinking/dancing/etc. again sometime soon. Maybe next time it will be in Indy.)

We got to Rockefeller Center around 6am and I signed in with Sara who hooked me up with the VIP pass. Since we had at least 30 minutes until the sound check, she told me I could hang out with her so I didn't get cold. Then she decided to upgrade me to Green Room status so I could wander around and get some coffee and food.

More Tim Goodness...

Did anyone watch the Tim McGraw special on NBC tonight? I was napping while it was on and I'm watching the tape now. Damn good stuff.

There are few artists I enjoy as much as Tim McGraw. His music...his aestheic appeal...his commitment to his fans...his dedication to his band...his devotion to his "girls." He's the real deal.

I have to admit I'm glad he cut his hair, though. It's a bit long in this special.

But how damn cool was it when his cell phone rang and he said, "That's my wife."

And he sang, "Unbroken." *g*

I took a nap from 6pm- 10pm and now I have to get ready to go out. We'll see how long I can make it. I bet I'm home by 1am. Last night did me in.
