1) I finally had lunch with [livejournal.com profile] stargems. Finally. We work two blocks away from each other and haven’t managed to see each other for weeks. It was great catching up even if we did spend 1/2 the time talking about DWNOGA. :)

2) Entertainment Weekly gave Drumline an A-. Nice. I *heart* Dallas Austin. No. Really. :b

3) For the week of December 9- 15, RENT was ranked #19 out of 20 shows in terms of overall net receipts ($467,548). (The Producers netted $1,139,783 during the same time period.) However, the average ticket price was only $55.02 as compared to average ticket prices of $80+ for the higher netting shows. Plus, RENT was at 89.9% capacity. That was the 7th highest for the week. Not bad.

4) [livejournal.com profile] without_me - I’m back. And I’m voting.

5) Tonight I think I may go see RENT. With Matt Kaplan. *sigh* [livejournal.com profile] liz_w says he’s good. And it is Sebastian’s first. In a not really his first but sort of his first kind of way. On the other hand, I have to revise my story for my challenge with [livejournal.com profile] kachera. I lost a lot of time while I was away on the cruise and January 5th is coming soon. Decisions, decisions.

6) I’m getting my copy of L’uomo transferred. Finally.

7) And my copy of Vibe was delivered today. Damn that Justin.

Lunch is over. Back to work.
Hi JG,

How have you been? What have you been up to? I am done with my first semester at Georgia Tech. I just went to Miami - stayed in South Beach for a short 5 day vacation after finals. I thought you would be excited about this news - while in South Beach one night we went to Touch, a swanky restaurant on Lincoln Rd. When we were about 3/4 of the way through our meal, a big group of people sat down at the table next to us and a young teenage girl ran up to a man in the group for an autograph. Roman and I asked her who he was, and a manly looking woman, who I'm assuming was an agent or something, butted in and said it was JC from N'Sync. He wasn't hanging out with any of the other boys from NSync, in fact, he was dressed unlike the usual pop way he is in the videos and in concert and was hanging out with a more hip hop type crowd. He was dressed all in hip hop get up, with a hat on backwards and kind of off to the side. I must admit, this home boy look does not look right on him. He also had a bunch of late teen-age girls hanging out at the next table over, not ordering any food - not sure if he welcomed them or if they just followed him around. They certainly were not socializing with him and were not partaking in the wine and food ordered by him and the others at his table. What an odd life he must lead - to have people hovering over him all the time.

Thought you might be interested in hearing this story, since I know you are a fan.

Have a happy New Year!
Love always,
JP

#1) Jealous.

#2) Interesting to hear her perspective because she is not a fan. At all.

#3) Jealous.
I think I'm going to have to buy ponies for [livejournal.com profile] hammerhead and [livejournal.com profile] without_me for all of their input/editing/comments/feedback on my story. Or at least say a big thank you.

I finally have time to go through the input/edits/comments/feedback and the time spent is appreciated. And editing is almost more difficult than writing the first draft.

It's interesting (and fun) to see feedback from two different people and then, after processing it, incorporate it to strenghten what you started with. Especially when you read a comment and think, "Yes! Of course. Why didn't I see that?"

PS- I didn't win lottery tickets tonight. And I just missed Sebastian going into the theater so I haven't seen the new highlights. But I did go see "Two Weeks Notice" with [livejournal.com profile] liz_w. Cute movie. And I helpd a huge Sebastian fan get her ticket for tonight's show. I also bumped into my friend from CA who came to town for New Year's and I hadn't planned on seeing until tomorrow night. But there she was at lottery. (And, by the way, she was there because I took her to see the show the last time she was in town and liked it so much she decided to go back.)

But now I have to get back to my edits. Because it's 11:45pm and I can not do this all night.
