Nostalgia...

I must have been feeling nostalgic this morning because I listened to the On the Line soundtrack on the subway ride to work.

There was some bad music on that soundtrack. Really bad music. But there are other songs I adore. Songs that remind me of happy times when we had our 5 sparkly boys dancing and singing for us regularly.

I miss them. Together.

Tonight, I go home alone...

Which really only means that I'm leaving my laptop on my damn desk.

It's 8:30pm.

I'm tired.

I'm hungry.

My back hurts.

I should stay here for another 2 hours to get my shit done.

I'm obviously grumpy because I'm bitching at LJ.

But we always end on the good.

Brianne officially moved to NY.

New Year's Eve guy called and, even though I'm not interested, it's nice.

Work is good. Tough and stressful sometimes, but good.

Story is done. Ready to post on Wednesday. Who can resist JoeC?

I love my sister. In huge ways. And having her in my life will always mean I'm lucky.

And now I'm going home to some green grapes and hot chocolate and my warm bed.
