Nick comes to NJ...

I went to a Nick Carter concert last night. Hee!

My overall impression is that he seems very happy. The kid was just rocking out on stage, jumping around and doing all he could to get the audience wet. I don't really know the stuff from his solo album so my favorites were the covers and the BSB medley. This was not the tired, shy kid from the airport. He seemed totally in his element. I can't say that I'm a fan but I certainly respect what he's doing and wish him well.

The venue was very small. We hung out in the back by the bar and were able to sit for most of the night instead of crowding up by the stage and standing on impractical shoes for a few hours.

Shoutouts. The company was wonderful. ghettogreta, amuse139, and caorann: It was great to see you again. chased_amy: reunited! And liz_w: We've certainly come a long way from the "Liz with the pictures" night. :)
Thanks to all of you for the great conversation and the dose of sanity at the diner. Clearly, it was much needed.

Now I need a nap. And an eyebrow wax.
