...because I keep watching the Grammy performance and, as my sister lovingly likes to point out, I'm obsessed with 'Nsync.

1) I never gave much thought to what their harmony sounds like with one voice missing but I love the fullness added to their sound when Justin ends his beatbox and joins the group on "Stayin' Alive." Power of 5, and all. That said, I also love his beatbox.

2) I also love JC's "Bow bow bow bow bow bow bow bow's" in "Stayin' Alive." Love. It. And the look on his face when the medley ends. It's the little things.

And I dig the audience shot after they perform where you can see Trace (take. off. the. hat.), Bev, and Lance's "girlfriend."

Are we voting? Only 4 days left for TRL. And don't forget to call at 3:30pm, EST. 1-800-342-5688. Press 1 for artist and 522 for JC. (And radio stations:
KIIS and Z100.

My mom and step-father are driving into NYC from Long Island to have dinner with me tonight. Because I asked them to. I've got me a cool family.

Back to work. The busy never stops!
Slowly but surely, BMU is moving up the Z100 play list. It appears to be the “little song that could” making waves months after release. So, I called Z100 today for the official scoop on voting tabulation. And suffered much mocking from my co-workers as I asked very detailed questions.

Btw, BMU made today’s high noon countdown! Unfortunately, someone else already introduced that song so I had to introduce Bump! Bump! Bump! Hey! It’s better than introducing Celine.

Here’s the deal:

Z100 has a nationwide, toll-free number: 1-800-242-0100. Kind of them isn’t it?

Interactive 9@9- Voting for the Interactive 9@9 is tabulated all day long. Any time you call in during the day, the votes are used for the 9pm countdown with Romeo. You can vote on-line here.

High Noon Countdown- Votes that come in from the time the Interactive 9@9 ends, until appx. 10am, count towards the High Noon Countdown. You can vote on-line for the High Noon Countdown here.

Carson’s Countdown- Votes that come in throughout the day are also counted towards Carson’s countdown. The voting for the Interactive 9@9 and Carson’s Countdown appear to be the same so I asked the station why the countdowns often differ drastically. Calls that come in from 6pm until the Interactive 9@9 is finalized count towards the 9pm tally but not towards Carson. The countdowns are often very different because of the change in demographic that starts calling in after 6pm.

You can also e-mail Cubby and Romeo to vote:
Cubby@z100.com
Romeo@z100.com.

Now go vote! I told Z100 to expect us. :)

Distressing news about Buffy. Sniff, Sniff

Honestly, I think that I should get to decide when shows I love are cancelled. If it was my decision, the following shows would still be going strong:

- Scarecrow & Mrs. King
- Star Trek: The Next Generation
- Thundercats
- Voltron
- Wonderwoman

Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] liz_w for a wonderful lunch that contributed to restoring my ability to squee over all things JC. Squeeeeee! Joining [livejournal.com profile] no_excuse was also a help. If you visit, you'll know why.

In other news, BMU was #10 on TRL today. Only three days to go! We can do it! Vote! Vote! Vote! [livejournal.com profile] powrhug is offering lots of goodies for voting. Today, I got this for my efforts. But there are a whole bunch of options. [livejournal.com profile] trickysdiva, [livejournal.com profile] madamshazam, & [livejournal.com profile] stargems: Don't tell me you won't miss my "reminder to vote" e-mails after BMU is retired.

I can finally listen to the radio at work. Z100 won't stream correctly but KIIS will. Music makes the day so much brighter.
