Cabbing it again...

I blame Rob Lowe for the fact that I couldn't get out of bed at 5:30am and ended up in a cab to work. Can I send him the receipt and ask for reimbursement?

I'm in the process of accumulating things for my apartment since outgoing roommate is taking her things with her. (The nerve.) There's a TV stand on Long Island that I want to bring to NYC but there's an annoying snag. My step-father is hearing a case where an insurance company claims that they don't have to honor a policy because the person driving at the time of the accident wasn't listed on the policy. So now, he won't let me borrow one of his cars to drive furniture into Manhattan. I told him to rule in favor of the insured and be done with it but he claims it's not so cut and dry. Dude. I just want my TV stand. I'm more than happy to let him drive it in. But he can't have his cake and eat it, too.

I have absolutely nothing else interesting to say this morning. New hires start at 9am. Yay! stargems: Yes, I'm doing the "yay!" motion as I type.
