Britney. Can't take my eyes off her. She's not doing anything new or revolutionary. She's pretty much the same ol' Britney. But the second she starts dancing, I'm hooked.

NYPD Blue. Diane's back! I love Kim Delaney/Diane Russell. The episode where her mother killer her father. The episode where she broke down about her father's abuse. The episodes when Bobby was sick. The episode where she said, "this is sweet, and this is low." And how she's back. I don't know how long she'll be on but we get her next week, too. I'll take what I can get. I made a point to tape the show on Tuesday so it's certainly got me watching the show again. And I never missed an episode in the days of Diane and Bobby. (Though, true to the show's form, she's back and suffering. Because it's not NYPD Blue if a character isn't in turmoil.)

I Love the 80's. I do. I really, really do. I could watch for hours. I actually called my mother to see if she watched "The Thorn Birds" in '83. She did. She had Thorn Bird parties, in fact. I just love the memories and the nostalgia. Fraggles!

The West Wing. Donna and Josh need to get together. Charlie needs more lines. And I adore Allison Janney.

Yankees. Ahhhhhhh! I wasn't as loyal as I should have been. I flipped back and forth between "I Love The 80's," "TWW," and the game. Then I fell asleep. But I woke up in time to see them lose. So, okay. Tied series. Makes for interesting baseball.

Elsewhere...I arranged a stress management workshop for the department today. I'm ordering lunch for everyone and I have someone coming in to speak about ways to minimize job related stress. I hope it's useful.

Also. Getting myself a copy of Ocean Drive magazine is proving to be a challenge. Grrrr. Want the pretty in my hands. ETA 12pm: Kare's getting me a copy. Eeee!

And I shall be Beer Bear...

For Halloween that is.

I've got a group going down to the Halloween parade in the Village next Friday night and I need a warm costume. Because it will be cold.

So I shall be Beer Bear. The one Care Bear missing from the crew.

Now all I need is a grown-up size onesie and I'm creative enough to make my little Beer Bear chest circle thing. I have no idea what to call that graphic in the center of the Care Bears' chests. But rest assured, my will proudly display a pitcher of beer.
