Was there ever a time in the popslash fandom when new fic appeared as frequently as I'm seeing in LotR? I joined a few cough*six*cough LotR fic communities and the amount of new stuff that's posted every day is almost overwhelming. If I actually read anything other than Orlando/Viggo, I'd be completely unable to keep up with the volume. I didn't start to actually read much popslash until a year and a half ago. Did I miss the glory days?

Oscar noms? Any word? I should check Yahoo.

Okay. Work. Yes. Whoooo!

EDIT: Full Oscar nom list from callmesandy. My picks in bold, based only on what I've seen. )

Clearly I'm biased.

A message from Gerri confirming that the release date is still scheduled for February 24th )

More than a thousand e-mails? I knew we were feisty but, damn.

I'm going to take her word for it.

EDIT: Josh Lyman just gave a very interesting monologue about the difference between being a fan and having a fetish. Guess where we fall? Also...first I couldn't post. Then I couldn't log in. Then my entry posted 5 times. LJ and I are are in a stand-off.
No words. I'm done. Just completely boneless.

This morning kgoodbuddy told me that I must read abundantlyqueer's Clue Series.

How did I not know? How?

And how did anyone manage to wait four months for all 10 parts?

This isn't just about LotR. This about one of the most sensual, touching, god just fantastic things I've read.

I felt like I was reading Part 7 in slow motion.

So, yes, I'm sure that I'm the last LotRips fan to read this story.

But, guh. That's some talent.

Does this mean I need an Elijah icon?
