I've been reading reactions to Justin's acceptance speech on my friends list and I'm genuinely baffled at the disappointment/anger over his omission of JC, Joey, Chris, and Lance in his thank yous. Aside from the fact that the only person he mentioned by name was his mother, the kid was trying to work an apology into his first ever Grammy acceptance speech. I can't even imagine the pressure of trying to make a moment yours while simultaneously apologizing to the country for your part in an embarrassing, unfortunate incident.

There has never been any doubt about the love those boys share. Throughout the hiatus they have supported each other publicly and, I'm sure, privately. We all saw JC sitting with Lynn for Justin's performance and read the report that JC was up out of his seat when Justin won. Hell, JC said on camera that he was there to support Justin. I doubt that support was tied into public acknowledgment of his role in Justin's success. We've also heard Justin speak out about JC's solo album with pride.

Of course we'd like to hear Justin thanks 'Nsync. Of course. But the fact that he didn't is not automatically a slight against the other guys or a reflection on his feelings about his time with 'Nsync.

In other news...I loved seeing Big Boi and Andre together. Their hug was fantastic. Those two are original and insanely talented.

What in the world put that huge smile on JC's face in the WI after party photos. Boy is glowing! Will wait patiently for larger pictures to appear on friends page.

I've received three e-mails today congratulating me on Justin's win. Seeing as I had absolutely nothing to do with it, I simply responded back with some photos of Justin backstage with his Grammys. If I had to listen to people rambling about the Janet mess last week, I can certainly handle accolades for the kid today. (And, if I want to be honest, I may have sent photos of both JC and Justin to a long list of colleagues furthering their assessment that I'm out of my damn mind. But I couldn't resist. Justin is a multiple Grammy winner and JC, well, did you see him?)

babygotbass posted one of raedoro's screencaps that shows the audience when Justin won. As happy as it makes me to see JC standing in the audience, I'm most entertained by Ellen. Ellen's Justin love makes me bounce. I can't wait to see her with JC. You know she's going to have something fantastic to say about "Some Girls."

I'm absolutely exhausted which I can attribute to the fact that I'm still not sleeping. The plan is to see RotK tonight and I'm sure I'm going to fall asleep about 2 hours in. But Aragorn! And Legolas!

I haven't loved a photo of JC this much in a long time. It's beyond the hair the face the aesthetics of him and more about the setting and ambiance and overall vibe of this picture. I love how he's set off to the side, giving a peace sign to someone we can't see. His eyes are so engaged. The red walls and the blue tile work perfectly with his white suit and the candle and liquor are set perfectly.
